Всем привет, хотелось бы услышать мнения насчет данного фреймворка (Groovy and Grails), кто использовал, какие впечатления? Сам писал на нем небольшой проект (супортил существующую функциональность), но хотелось бы узнать мнение других разработчиков.

Я вчера только начал изучать Grails, но впечатление о нем сложилось очень хорошее. жалко нет хорошего рускоязычного форума  |

Как раз собираюсь опробовать на небольшом проекте. Насколько я понял, что-то вроде Ruby on Rails, но на Java-платформе (из языков, кроме собственно Java, позволяет использовать Groovy). Похоже, именно это мне и нужно, чтобы всё завелось с пинка. Раньше пробовал RoR - простейший web-интерфейс к базе нарисовался едва ли не сам собой, но дальше с Ruby неохота связываться.

Я писала небольшую утилитку на groovy. Вроде ничего, но как мне сказали есть проблемы в debugging. Была вот тут на презентации Scala, похоже на groovy, но есть всякие плагины к эклипсу, но я еще не разбиралась.
